We are so fortunate to live in a university town. This brings a wealth of extra resources to our classrooms. I am pleased to introduce 2 special people who will be working with our band students this semester.
Ms. Christine Stinchi is our student teacher. She is in her last semester of college at the University of Michigan School of Music. Ms. Stinchi is a wonderful french horn player and is particularly interested in teaching elementary/middle school band. She is doing a great job working with students at Logan, King and Clague. Ms. Stinchi is also working with students at Ann Arbor STEAM under the guidance of Ms. Cara Boden. Ms. Stinchi will be with us until the end of the UofM semester in April.
Mr. Chance Stine is coming to Logan on Tuesday mornings as part of his music education methods class at UofM. Mr. Stine is a saxophonist. He will be working with individuals, small groups and teaching some short lessons to the woodwind and the brass classes at Logan over the next 10 weeks.
